Italus is a sub-adult Bottlenose was found in the water near the Samara Beach . The initial bloodwork showed anemia, hypoglycemia, and overall poor health due to starvation. The radiographs did not show any fishing hooks. Italus was given fluids, antibiotics, and iron injections as prescribed. After recovering he was released back to nature. Italus received treatment and was closely monitored until its release.
